NOTE: These do NOT include the bulb pins or a storage case.* They are shipped LETTERMAIL (no tracking).
*My informal polling has confirmed: most knitters already have stitch markers (either metal bulb pins or the plastic locking type like the ones shown in the photo with the knitting) so I am omitting the pins in order to keep shipping reasonable. I recommend storing them in a clean, reused candy tin or something similar. Please reduce, reuse, recycle (in that order)!
Any knitter who has ever attempted to cast on or keep track of 408 stitches in a large project knows EXACTLY how frustrating it is to count them all. Or losing track of which is the right or left sleeve on a sweater...one wrong move and hours and days of work is rendered useless.
Enter my solution: numbered markers (which go all the way up to 500) you can fasten to your stitch markers, as needed. You can use them to keep track of your stitch count, clearly mark your left/right sleeves, the wrong and right sides of the project and each spot you need to increase or decrease.
This set is particularly suitable for someone who knits shawls, sweaters, hats, mitts and socks. If you have a specific marker need (for example, end of row), you could also flip the marker backwards and add a small sticker dot to the back of it.
Send your favourite knitter a this indispensable set of stitch markers to show them how much you appreciate their handknits!
Please remember to remove your markers from your work prior to blocking or washing. These are not intended to be submerged in water.
